We will train and encourage the men of G.C.C. to become godly men, who are equipped for service in God's kingdom; while also maintaining the church property and grounds as necessary.

We will train and encourage the women of G.C.C. to become godly ladies, who are equipped for service in God's kingdom.

We seek to encourage our youth to develop in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to assist them in maturing in their faith, and finding ways to serve the church and community. 

Food orders are placed at a local host site during a period of about 10 to 14 days each month. Orders are pre-paid and a receipt is provided to the customer at that time. Our sites accept Cash, Money Orders and most accept Food Stamp EBT cards for payment. Visa and MC are accepted for payment through our on-line order process. See left panel to select this option.

On a pre-determined day once each month (either a Friday evening or a Saturday morning) the food arrives on refrigerated trucks at "Drop Zones" which serve as pick-up points for local Host Sites. Each site transports the food back to their indvidual sites and set up their local distribution of food to their customers.

Customers arrive at the Host Site where they placed their order at a pre-set distribution time with their receipt, and receive their food from the local volunteers.

Each Basic Food Box and the Specials come pre-packed and ready for delivery.

REDEEMING LIGHT is a ministry that believes in God’s desire for men to have dignity and self –respect, even during moments of hardship.  In an effort to extend a hand up to the residents of Gahanna, New Albany, Whitehall, and the eastside of Columbus, Redeeming Light is designed to help struggling parents maintain their self worth, while enabling their families to celebrate Christmas. 

We believe parents going through hardships deserve a chance to provide their children with a little joy at Christmas time. We provide such a chance. Redeeming Light helps parents experience renewed hope, and the joy of knowing their children will have a great Christmas. 

Parents in hardship are given encouragement, as they select new merchandise at a very affordable price. Redeeming Light enables parents, and especially their children, to celebrate the birth of Jesus with a sense of hope, and renewed faith.
